VMWare for VISTA and XP OS

HI there,

I wonder if anyone can tell me (in very simple terms please) which VM Ware software do I need to install on my VISTA Laptop in order to run XP (I have some software that will only run in XP). I tried installing MS Virtual PC 2007 but it does not have USB support. I am aware of the freeware: VM Ware 2, VM Ware ESXi, etc. Any idea which one is the simplest for a novice!! I have a new 32bit Vaio laptop with 4GB memory, running on VISTA.

To play a XP VM on Vista you can use VMware Player http/www.vmware.com/products/player/
But to create a XP VM to play you need VMware Workstation http/www.vmware.com/products/ws/
