I was wondering how to make a CD/DVD a little safer or harder to copy. I want to be able to put pictures and video on a CD/DVD and not have to worry about free range copying (that is to say if my stuff is good enough to want to copy). I know that there is no 100% copy protection and such, but just a little extra security would help me sleep at night.

Well, you can always control whoever has access to physical copies of your CD/DVD. Besides, all commercial copy-protection schemes are well-known enough that not only are none of them 100% fool-proof, info on how to bypass them is easily available online.

Might I ask why you want to protect your photos? Are you advertising a photography service or something?

I would advice you to talk to Link Data Security. They have been in the CD/DVD copy protection for many years.

@r_manic: Not all copy protection software is on the web and most companies make new protection all the time.
