DLP2+ - where do prices start?

Just getting into the HDTV world, and am very impressed with DLP (after
seeing it in movie theaters).

The new 2+ chips appear to be a big step up from the 2 and 3 chips, but the
prices seem rather steep. The new Samsung pedastal models are over $4k, and
I don't think projection TVs should cost that much.

What manufacturer has more reasonable prices?

My Mits 52525 listed for $4k but UE seems to have a standard 10% off deal
running so you can get it for $3600.

Not much difference but the upcoming Samsung x74 models, will start at
around $3500. They're supposed to have the 2+ from what I heard. Supposed to
be released sometime in Oct. I think.
