Does ESPN HD have the same programming as regular ESPN, with the only
difference being that one is HD and the other not? I'm looking forward to
getting ESPN HD here on Bright House in the Tampa Bay area soon. I
understand it's now under negotiation.

Yup!

A widescreen edition of a movie presents the film frame as it was seen in
the movie theater. This is the version that best preserves the filmmaker's
original intent.

End of story!
