hello everyone. can someone tell me how I can increase the font display size for firefox? I've tried setting it to 120 dpi and even used font sizes of 40+ but there doesn't seem to be any effect after 20. Even using the default 120 dpi resolution font is better.

Looking at the THG main page, the text on the gray bar at the top of the screen is like font size 7 in MS Word just so you see what I mean.

I'm trying to make the switch from IE here. Cheers mate.

edit: I tried ctrl + + too but it looks kinda weird because the frames size doesn't increase causing the text to get squeezed in.

   :frown:
Edited by bigrat on 10/08/05 11:20 PM.

i don't know why it's not working for you it should.

Hold done the Control KEY and press the PLUS + key on the numeric PAD... it should work flawlessly... works for me with no problem.

hi thanks for the reply.

setting it from 96 dpi to 120 dpi enlarged it by just a little bit and its still uncomfortable to read.

ctrl + + manages to enlarge the fonts but because the frames stay the same width the text gets squeezed down to the next line. So while its easier on the eyes it still doesn't make it quite easy to read.

I blame this all on my notebook's lcd display. There was only this SXGA+ 1400x1050 display at the time and everything looks so tiny. I use large fonts and 120dpi in the display drivers to get things more comfortable to see.

I've tried some of the extensions for mozilla and they don't have what I need. So I guess I'm stuck with IE for the time being.

Thanks for trying to help anyway mate.
