How to Set Up Channel Shortcuts in your Roku Device

Creating shortcuts for anything is a very convenient thing we do. And through shortcuts, we have less to sweat. The thing about Roku device is that you would not want to indulge in long hours of clicking the buttons of the Roku remote because let’s face it, we’re impatient. But there is no point in wasting any time on it anyway. So, the best way is to create shortcuts for your favorite channels. The best way to do is to bring them on the Home screen. Step 1
Select the ‘Channel’
While you are at the Home screen, use the ‘Arrow Buttons’ on the Roku remote to navigate through the list of channels and select your desired channel for setting up the channel shortcut.

Step 2
Press ‘*’ Button
If you arrive at your desired channel, Press ‘*’ (Star Button) and it will take you another set of options for the channel.

Step 3
Select ‘Move Channel’
The list of options will have ‘Move Channel’, Select that.

Step 4
Set Up the Shortcut
Once you have clicked on ‘Move channel’, your channel icon is now ready to be placed on the home screen. Move the channel and place it on the home screen with the help of arrow buttons on your Roku remote.
