How to Login to your Netflix Account When you Forgot your Password

In this age of technology, we are forever creating new accounts for an ever-increasing set of platforms and apps that we use. And with each new account comes a newly forged password which you must remember. But after a while, human memory is bound to fail. Let’s say you got a new iPhone or a Tablet and you want to obviously add your Netflix account to it. But you realize that you have long forgotten the password thanks to the ‘remember me’ feature in your browser.

This does not mean that you will not be able to set up Netflix on your new device. Of course, there is a way, and all you need to do is follow the steps below to login to your Netflix account when you have forgotten the password.

Step 1
Go to ‘Netflix.com’
Open up the ‘Netflix App’ or head to ‘Netflix.com’ using your browser and click on the ‘Sign in’ button located at the top right side of the screen.

Step 2
Click on ‘Need help?’
On the login page click on the ‘Need help?’ option which is right below the ‘Sign in’ box.

Step 2
Hit ‘Email me’
You will be provided with three different options to reset your password. One of them is via your e-mail and the other two are via your phone. In case your phone number is not registered to your account choose the e-mail option and type your registered email id below and hit ‘Email Me’.

Step 4
After you hit ‘Email Me’ button, you will get the below screen as a result and an e-mail will be sent to your email address registered with your Netflix account which will include a link. You can click on the link and reset your password with absolutely no hassle at all.

Now you can use the new Netflix password to log in from any device. You can also do this entire process via your phone, but we suggest using the e-mail id option.
