General Information:
The Jyuratodus is featured in just a few quests. You will first come across this monster in the assignment “Sinister Shadow in the Swamp” and then you will fight it in just two other quests named; The Piscine Problem and Up to Your Waist in the Waste. Jyuratodus is a Piscine Wyvern and has Low Rank, High Rank and Tempered Threat Level 1 variants.

Strengths and Weaknesses:
Surprisingly, the Jyuratodus is strong against a lot of element and ailments. It is very strong against the Water element, and somewhat strong against Fire, Ice and Dragon elements when it is dry. And when it is muddy, the Jyuratodus is very strong against Poison and Paralysis elements somewhat strong against Blast and Stun elements. And if we talk about the ailments, then it is somewhat strong against the Sleep and Blast ailments.

When it comes to the weaknesses, it is weak against Thunder element when it is dry and against Sleep element when it is muddy. It is also weak against Stun ailment and moderately weak against Poison and Paralysis ailments. If we talk about its weak parts, then the tail and head are the weak spots. Its body, fins, tail and head are all breakable as well. Jyuratodus can coat itself in the mud and then it will be resistant to fire and weak against water.

Preparation:
The first thing that you should always take is the good meal. And after that, you should take the gear with aquatic expertise skill as you will need to move fast in the water and reduce its effect on your ability to evade attacks. Also bring Nulberries to deal with Waterblight that can hinder your stamina. Lastly, get some water moss on your way to make sure you can use them with slinger to deal water damage.

Attacks:
The Jyuratodus shares many similarities with the previous monster; Barroth. It likes to dwell in the swamps and will cover itself in mud to get similar armor effect like Barroth. The good thing is that the Jyuratodus is not as aggressive as the Barroth and its attacks and movements are slow and predictable. The attacks of the Jyuratodus largely consist of bites, tail sweeps, lunges and charges. Moreover, it can spit gobs of mud and usually spits them three times in succession. The Jyuratodus will not leave its watery home so make sure you bring an armor with aquatic expertise.
