This is one of the quests where you will have to kill a monster that is bigger and powerful. This is a completely new monster and is not entirely native to Elder’s Recess. Although it may not be stronger than some monsters in Elder’s Recess it still is quite powerful, the name of the monster is Uragaan. Your objective is to track and kill Uragaan.

So in order to start the quest, you will be required to have a Hunter Rank of 13 or more which you should have by now. So with the basic of the quest out of the way, let’s start it:
- The Uragaan cannot be found in one place; this monster likes to dwell in different areas and therefore, you may need to look for it in different areas. You can find the tracks of the Uragaan in AREA 8, 7, 6, 5, and 2. And the lair of this monster is in the AREA 6. So once you find its tracks, start building up your scoutfly level and then eventually find it.

- One thing that you need to keep in mind before going to find the Uragaan is that it is found in very hot areas where you can take a lot of heat damage. Therefore, what you need to do is to take some cool drinks with you so you can tackle the heat issue.

- Once you find the Uragaan, you will then have to engage with it. The frequent attacks of the Uragaan include the head slam. Side rush, a series of head slams, and the sleep gas that it excretes from the underside. You can also expect to see a tail sweep where it also sends explosive spheres with the tail sweep.

- Uragaan can make some long spin attacks with sometimes changing its directions so what you should do is to use the traps or Flash Pods in order to interrupt its attacks or otherwise dodge or block them. The head and belly of Uragaan are receptive to the damage and its back armor and head are both breakable while the tail is severable. The Uragaan is weak to the water attacks and vulnerable to poison ailment as well.
So fight the monster while keeping the aforementioned things in mind and you will be able to defeat it quickly. Once you kill the monster, carve it and you will be given a reward of 14400z.
