The quest is the second one in the Wildspire Waste and it is different than the last quests. If you want to know more about it and how to complete it, then refer to the step by step guide below:
Walkthrough:
Unlike the previous quests, this is a lot different. You had to kill the monster in the previous quests but this one requires you to capture one. The objective of this quest is to capture a monster name as Kula-Ya-Ku.
If you successfully captured him you will be rewarded with 2520z. The time limit for the quest is 50 minutes and it will fail if you run out of time or faint three times. It will also fail if you slay the monster so keep that in mind as well. Lastly, you need Hunter Rank 3 to start this quest which you would already have gotten from the previous quest. You have the benefit of knowing the monster in this quest as you have killed him before. But, it’s not about killing it now, it’s about capturing it alive. So without further ado, let’s start:
1. First of fall, visit the Provisions Stockpile to get extremely important equipment for this quest and that is the trap tool. It will cost you 200z per trap tool, get at least two of them.
2. Next, you will need some sleep herbs, thunderbugs, and parashrooms. You can find all of them in the Ancient Forest. You find many of these in abundance at the upper boughs of Ancient Forest. - You can also get the parashrooms and thunderbugs near the northeast camp as well. You can also find the sleep herbs in abundance in the AREA 4 and AREA 9.
3. Now that you have the components, you need to interact with your item box. Select the “crafting list” option and craft at least one shock trap along with two tranq bombs.
4. Okay so once you are done with these things, let the hunt begin. Remember you are in Wildspire Waste so the location of the monster is going to be different. You can find it either in its lair that is in the cave along the north western end of the AREA 6 or you can also find him stealing the eggs in AREA 12 and AREA 4.
5. Just go at any of these places, get your scoutfly level up and then find the monster. Once you find him, you should not kill it as your mission is to capture it alive. Okay so once you see a skull by its icon just follow the monster back to its lair and then wait for it to sleep. Once it falls asleep, drop the shock trap.
6. If the monster refuses to retreat then just drop the shock trap near it. Once it is ensnared, run up to it and then drop a tranq bomb as well near its head. And that’s how you will capture it.
Once you have captured it, the quest will be completed and you will be rewarded with 2520z. Just make sure to follow all of the aforementioned steps carefully.
