How to Access the Fire TV Developer Tool

The developer tool which was previously known as System Status Monitor menu has a handful of useful tools like System X-Ray that allows you to monitor your CPU memory and network usage. This will be very useful if you have defined broadband capacity. Here is how to access the developer tool for your Fire TV.

1. Press the Center and Down Button
Get the remote of your Fire TV and press down the ‘Center’ and ‘Down’ buttons together for 5 seconds. Then release the buttons. There will be no obvious change on your screen when you do this so don’t worry. You may need to do this with both thumbs to prevent pressing another button in the process.
