Wailing Woods is located east of Tomato Town and north of Lonely Lodge.
It is a forest area and has some houses, containers and a bunker in its premises. The area is equipped with a lot of trees and has a good amount of loot as well. If you want to dominate in the area, you should follow the tips mentioned below:
Use the Bunker:
In the area Wailing Woods, there is a center bunker that is surrounded by the labyrinth. And therefore, it makes it very hard to navigate. So if the area is inside the eye of the storm, then you can use the bunker to hide from enemies. This is because it is easy to defend and you can do some camping there. Also, there is enough gear inside the bunker that can help you defend yourself easily if someone comes there. So makes sure to check that bunker out.
Go to Shipping Containers:
The best thing about the Wailing Woods is that it has a good amount of loot. If you want quick gear to take out enemies in the area, you can always head to the shipping containers or directly land there. These containers are located in the southwest of the area and upon searching you can find some good amount of loot including some weapons. Just make sure to keep an eye out for other enemies who may be going towards the containers as well.
A Lot of Wood:
As the name of the area suggests; Wailing Woods, it does have a lot of large trees. You can not only get a decent amount of loot from there but you can also get plenty of wood through the trees present in the area. You can then use that wood to build sky bases. The sky bases will give you a height advantage over other players present there. Also, if you find a sniper in the area, you can use the sky base to take out enemies easily. So make sure to head to the trees after you have collected sufficient loot to start gathering wood from there.
Check Out the Big House:
Although the area is filled with loot and chests, there is a place that guarantees good loot and some chests. If you plan on getting loot and weapons first and want to avoid shipping containers area as some other players may go there as well, then you can always head to the northeast of the Wailing Woods. You will find a big house there. There is a good amount of loot present in that house. You will also find two chests in the same house so make sure to search it thoroughly.
