Although Mangrove Cove is the starting level but it can be tough when it comes to finding the collectables and especially the KONG letters. But, with the help of this guide, you will be able to find the KONG letters with ease. So let’s get started:
Kong Letter #1:
As you spawn at the start of the level, just keep on playing. Swim to the right side until you can come out of the water. There, you will see two Dodo birds. These birds are the common enemy in the game. You need to finish them by stomping on them and then you will see the platforms of grass, jump on the first platform. You will see that the first letter that is “K” will be floating between the first platform and second platform. Jump from the first platform to the second platform and nab the letter “K” and then keep moving.
Kong Letter #2:
After you have gotten the first letter, keep playing the game because you will not see another letter for a while. Then once you have freed Diddy, you will come outside in the open and from there, move towards the rightmost raft. From there, you will be able to spot the next letter of KONG that is the “O.” It will be under some plants. Now to reach that plant, firstly you will have to do a nice long jump and then you will also need the jet pack boost from Diddy.
Kong Letter #3:
Once you have the second letter, keep going towards the right side and you will come across trees with barrel cannons. There, you will see a rotating ring of goodies where you will also find a puzzle piece. The next Kong letter can be found along the same path. When you reach the alternating barrel cannon where the bananas will be creating a rhombus shape, just choose the left side to get the third letter that is “N.”
Kong Letter #4:
Now continue playing the game through the maze of barrel cannons and a time will come when you will land on the ground. You will come across a second checkpoint, move through it and then after a bit of traveling, a ship will crash into the beach and some penguin Snowmads will come out. Fight them and then keep moving to the right side, and you will come across a few tutorial pigs, move past them and you will be faced with a giant enemy who will come out of a large crate. Fight that enemy and when you are done, jump onto a swinging platform and then go to the middle platform. There will be a spear holding penguin, defeat him and jump to next swinging platform. There will be another penguin with helmet, defeat him, then pick him up and go to the left side, there will be a target, throw the penguin at the target and you will get the final Kong letter, the “G.”
Don’t get confused with lengthy steps, if you read them carefully and follow them closely, you will definitely get all the KONG letters.
