The modern version of the Netflix app on the PS4 can still
get Error NW-4-7 if there is something wrong with the network. All of the fixes
for this on the PS4 are quick to put into action and don’t require high
technical expertise.

Check The DNS Settings

DNS settings that don’t match up with what your internet
provider gave you can cause problems. By manually setting up your connection,
you will get rid of the most common problems.

1. Go to Settings on the Main Menu and select Network.

Restart The Internet

When the connection problem is deeper than PS4 settings,
resetting the internet is the next best option. Doing this will temporarily
knock off any device on the network, so only proceed when you’re ready.

1. Turn off the PS4.

2. Unplug the modem and router from the wall and wait a full
minute.

3. Plug the devices back in using this order; PS4, modem and
then router.
