Fortnite Battle Royale – Running, Jumping and Crouching Tips

Fortnite is a game with unique action mechanics. Unlike the other games, you will be heard by the enemy even if you are crouch walking. And because of that, your perfectly planned stealth execution may go down the drain. This is the reason that I thought there should be a guide letting Fortnite Battle Royale players know some tips for the primary actions of Fortnite. Therefore, I will be dropping some serious knowledge bombs on you guys later in this guide. Just keep on reading and consuming everything that you read. So without further ado. Let’s get started:

Running:
Firstly we will talk about running. People usually run in Fortnite instead of walking. This makes sense as you need to move quickly because of the minute by a minute contracting circle. But, there can be a disadvantage of running, and that is getting heard by an enemy. Yes, running makes a lot of noise, and your enemy can easily become aware of your presence. So whenever you see an enemy nearby, don’t run. Also, if you want to dodge the shots of other players but shoot them at the same time, then you need to practice something that I call “Dribbling.” What you exactly need to do is that you need to run right and left while taking shots at an opponent. A time will come when you will master this trick, and then you will take out enemies without any problem while dodging their bullets.

Crouching:
When you are entering a building or a room, and you suspect that there may be an enemy inside, then enter through the door while you are crouching. This way you will have the advantage of firing at your opponent before he does, how? Well, he will be expecting you to come inside running, and he will be aiming at your head or chest, but you will be coming while crouching and avoiding his aim. Also if you are planning on executing an enemy from behind or at a close range, don’t just go to him while you are crouching. Trust me; crouch walking still makes a sound. So what you should do is that you need to wait for the opponent to do something that makes noise and then move so you will not be heard.

Jumping:
The most helpful thing in either building or fighting is the proper use of jumping. If you are faced with an opponent, try to dodge their bullets by jumping and especially when you are waiting for your weapon to load, this will help you avoid their attacks and also confuse them. And if someone is jumping and shooting you as well, build higher and get above them and then their jumping won’t be of any use to them.
