Netflix Error UI-800-3: Fix On Blu-ray Players

The limited memory of Blu-ray players will sometimes store
bad data from your favorite apps. With Netflix, the bad data will lead to error
UI-800-3. There are three main fixes to get rid of the error for good.



Restart The Blu-ray Player



Restarting the device will clear out a lot of bad data
issues on Netflix and many of the other apps you use. This fix can be done in
under two minutes and doesn’t delete any data.



1. Turn off the device.

2. Unplug it from the wall and wait sixty seconds.

3. Plug it back in and turn on the device.

4. Check to see if Netflix is working.

Sign Out Of Netflix



Error UI-800-3 comes with its own built in fix if you follow
the onscreen instructions. It is worth a shot if the other fixes don’t do the
trick.



1. While you’re on the error screen, select “More Details”.

2. Choose to “Reset”.

3. Sign back in after it finishes signing you out.

4. Open the Netflix app and try to log in.

Restart The Network



When the bad data stored on the Netflix app won’t go away,
instead of reinstalling it try restarting/refreshing your home network. It is
an extensive process, but is the last line of defense for getting rid of error UI-800-3.



1. Turn off the Blu-ray player.

2. Unplug it from the wall.

3. Unplug the wireless router/modem and wait sixty seconds.

4. Plug everything back in using this order: Blu-ray player,
modem and then router.

5. Wait until the activity lights are set on the modem and
router.

6. Turn on the Blu-ray player and try Netflix again.
