How to Unlock Your iPhone X

iPhone X is packed with a whole host of new features.
As for the security measures, Touch ID is replaced by Face ID, whereas the concept of passcode is still the same.
When talking about unlocking your iPhone X, there are three ways your phone can be unlocked, namely:

Unlocking iPhone X Using Face ID
Compliments to the TrueDepth camera, the process is seamless. This means, if you have set up Face ID, your iPhone X gets automatically unlocked. All you need to do is look at it when on the Lock screen.
Here’s how this is done:
    Wake your iPhone X
Press the Sleep/Wake button once, tap the screen, or raise your iPhone X. Any of the three methods wakes your iPhone X to the Lock screen.

    Unlock with Face ID
Look at your iPhone X when on the Lock screen. This automatically and seamlessly unlocks your iPhone. You can know if your iPhone X is unlocked using your Face ID when the lock icon at the top animates to open.

Note: You can use passcode to unlock your iPhone X if your Face ID fails to do so, or if you have not set up Face ID in your phone at all.
Simple Swipe – No Security
Although it is not recommended to leave your iPhone X without Face ID or passcode protection, if your device remains mostly at home or among trusted people, you don’t have to make it that secure. Without any security measures enabled, you can directly get to the Home screen from the Lock screen.
Here’s how:
    Wake your iPhone X
Use any of the above methods to wake your iPhone X. This takes you to the Lock screen.
