Where to get pokeballs and what kinds are there in Pokemon Go
Pokeballs are essential to capturing pokemon, if you don't have any to throw at the pokemon, then you might as well just wave at it as you go by and let it stay free and wild. Like that Vulpix I grabbed, while the person I was playing with had just used her last ball on a Zubat and had nothing left for it. Don't let this happen to you! Here's how you can keep your collection of pokeballs high and what kinds of pokeballs there are in the game.
Step 1)What kinds are there?
There are four types of pokeballs in Pokemon Go, but only three of them are currently available. There are rumors that the Masterball is in the code, but it is not yet obtainable. So, at this time you can get regular pokeballs, great balls, and ultra balls.
Step 2)What's the difference between them?
A regular pokeball is pretty common and you can usually collect them in abundance, but their capture rate is fairly low compared to the others. A great ball is pretty much in the middle ground, not too rare, but not too great either (despite its name). An ultra ball is the best ball currently in the game until the master ball is actually available. You'll have the highest capture rate with this, but they are the most rare.
Step 3)Where do you get them?
So where do you find these things? Well, there's a few options to pick them up. You can visit the in game store and just outright buy the regular pokeballs using your pokecoins. You can also get them for leveling up, the higher your level, the more you'll get, and of the higher quality. You can also get these from visiting pokestops located around the world. Pokestops will grant you the more rare pokeballs more often the higher your level is, I started seeing the great balls around level 12, and the ultra balls will start appearing around level 20.
