The quantity and quality of Android games has improved exponentially over the past few years. We have gone from blocky, basic games with limited playability to some great looking, intuitive games that are more addictive than they should be. So what if you’re hooked on a game and want to play it on your computer? Anything is possible when you put your mind to it. Here’s how you can play Android games on your PC.

I use the Nox App Player which is a downloadable Android emulator that works on a PC. It’s fast, powerful and easy to use. A winning combination in my book!

There are browser emulators and other versions of Nox, but given how usable Nox is, I haven’t strayed far from the app. Your mileage may vary of course. A quick Google search of ‘Android emulator PC’ should give you plenty of options to choose from.

Play Android games on your PC
1. Download and install your emulator of choice onto your PC.
2. Open it and you will see a simulation of a typical Android environment. Navigate using mouse or keyboard. Mouse is default and simulate the swipe or tap quite effectively.
3. Use the emulator as you would an Android device and navigate to the Google Play Store to download a game or app.
4. Install, allow to connect to the internet as you deem appropriate and play.

Some games run in emulators need extra processing power to work effectively. Despite the average PC having more power than smartphones, some games can be a little sluggish.

As well as games, Android emulators can run apps too, which offers a lot of opportunities to managing your mobile life while at home or in the office!
