There are a few things you can do to address Wi-Fi connectivity, one of them is bound to work.

1. Select Wi-Fi from the Quick Settings drop down on the home page and select Forget. Reconnect and retest.
2. Manually select the frequency used by your router by accessing Settings then the three dots in the top right of the screen. Select Advanced, then Wi-Fi frequency band. Manually set it to 5GHz (if your router uses 5GHz).
3. Disable Bluetooth from the Quick Settings drop down on the home page and then retry connecting to Wi-Fi.
4. Enable mobile data from Quick Settings drop down on the home page, access the Settings menu, then Wireless. Uncheck Smart network switch.

If none of those steps works, some Galaxy S7 users said wiping their cache partition solved the problem with Wi-Fi connectivity. If nothing else works, you could try it.

1. Turn off your Galaxy S7 by holding the power button and selecting Power off.
2. Hold down the power, volume and home buttons at the same time until you see the Samsung logo. Let go of the power button but continue holding volume and home until the Android logo appears.
3. You should now be in the recovery menu.
4. Select wipe cache partition with volume down and select using the power button.
5. Press the power button again to select reboot system now and retry connecting to Wi-Fi.
