How to activate developer options in Android Marshmallow

Google disables developer options by default because some of them can be used to harm your device. Having said that there really is nothing to worry about, but it is still good to know before you get started. The process is very simple and can be found below. Under the steps you I have shared some of the reasons you may want to enable and use develop options.

Step 1- Open the App Drawer, then find and select Settings

You have now enabled developer options and have access to all it offers. To use them just go into Settings and scroll down until you see Developer options.

The main reason to turn developer options on is turn enable USB debugging for ADB but there are other cool things in developer mode as well. Like Stay awake, the phone will never sleep when charging. Or Show touches, show visual feedback for touch interactions. Also Show pointer location, screen overlay showing current touch data, like X and Y coordinates and touch path. Those are just a few that I have personally used but there are other options that might be useful too.

If you ever want to disable developer options simply go into developer options and touch the on/off option in the top right.

Having the ability to turn developer options on or off might help you feel more comfortable when enabling developer options. I hope these steps help you accomplish your goals.
