Pair Your Sony Smartwatch with Android Devices

Most smartwatches need to be connected to a smartphone in order to function (the watch can't carry all of its functionality on board).

In order to use the Sony smartwatch, it must be paired with an Android device (typically a smartphone). Since most Sony smartwatches are compatible with the Android operating system, it is straightforward process to pair the two devices with each other.

The step-by-step instructions to connect your Sony smartwatch with an Android smartphone are given below:

  1. Turn on your Android smartphone by pressing the Power button.
  2. Switch on your Sony smartwatch.
  3. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone and turn the Bluetooth on.
  4. Once enabled, under the AVAILABLE DEVICES section, tap to select the Sony smartwatch to pair the watch with the phone.
  5. When the both devices are paired, tap to open the Play Store on your Android phone.
  6. On the opened Play Store page, search for the Smart Connect app.
  7. Once found, tap the INSTALL button.
  8. Tap ACCEPT to download and install the app from the next opened box.
  9. When installed, tap OPEN to launch the app and follow the on-screen instructions to access your Sony smartwatch.
