Add Voice Actions on Android Wear

Your Android smartwatch is capable of performing tasks based on your voice commands. You must enable the voice commands for individual apps on your Android Wear device, but once enabled, you can access them using your voice.

Follow the steps below to add voice actions for apps in your Android Wear:

    ■Switch on your Android smartphone.
    ■Tap Menu icon to go to the apps list.

    ■From the available icons, tap Android Wear to launch the app.

    ■Once opened, under Voice actions at the bottom-half of the window, tap to select the desired app that you wish to open on your smartwatch using voice command. (Navigate in this demonstration.)

    ■When prompted after selecting the app, tap the app icon to add the app to the voice actions list of your smartwatch.

    ■Once done, tap the screen of your smartwatch and say “OK Google” to enable Google search app.

    ■After this, speak the respective command to open the desired app.
    Note: For example, say “OK Google” to enable Google search engine. Once enabled, say “Navigate to <Los Angeles>” to display the route to L.A.

    ■Optionally, tap Browse suggested apps from the bottom of the Android Wear window, and follow the on-screen instructions to install and add more apps to the Voice actions section.

    ■Once installed, repeat steps 4 and 5 to add the installed app to voice actions list on your smart watch.
