Installing Chrome OS on a Computer

You can install Chrome OS on a computer in the following two ways:

[listNum]■Through a Live DVD – When you download an ISO image of Chrome OS and burn it on a DVD, the DVD becomes bootable. You can use it to boot the computer and start using Chrome OS seamlessly. This way you don’t have to install the operating system on the hard drive (many new users may want to stick to their regular operating system), and you can still get some hands-on time with the OS.

After Installing on the Hard Drive – This method needs you to use the Live DVD for one time only to boot the computer and install Chrome OS on the hard drive. After installation you can start using the computer without the DVD.
