How to Add Money to Google Wallet

Google Wallet is a mobile payment systems in which users are able to pay for purchases in stores, online, or even transfer money to other people. You can store credit cards, debit cards, and other gift cards on Google Wallet. The payment system is available on a wide variety of mobile devices.

Money can be added to a Google Wallet account at any time. You can add money using a credit card (there is a small fee) or directly from a bank account (free). Follow the steps below to add money to your Google Wallet from your PC or laptop.

Step 1: You must first sign in to your Google Wallet. Go to wallet.google.com.

Step 2: Select and click Payment methods from the menu on the left.

Step 3: You will see Wallet Balance. Find Add to Wallet Balance and click it.

Step 4: You must choose where the money is coming from, either bank account or credit card. Once you have selected the funding source, enter the amount you would like to add.

Step 5: Click Add money.

The steps are very similar if you want to add money through your mobile device. You must open the Google Wallet app first. From the menu, tap Wallet Balance, then tap Add money. Once again, you will choose the source and the amount you would like to add. When finished, you tap Review to make sure the transaction is correct and then tap Add money.

The transaction may take three to ten days when transferring from a bank account. Credit card transactions are usually faster but can still take a few days. Either way, adding money to your Google Wallet is very easy.
