Step 1: Go to your My Glass app on your smartphone or mobile device. Open the menu and select Glassware.

Step 2: Scroll down the page and locate the Word Lens application. Click it to open.

Step 3: Download the app. It may take a while depending upon your Internet connection.

Step 4: After you have downloaded the app, turn it on. Select On on the screen.

Step 5: Put on Google Glass. You will have to tell the device to translate and into what language.

Step 6: Look directly at the text that you want to translate. The Google Glass technology will translate the text into the language that you have chosen. The results of the translation will appear on your mobile device.

Google Glass technology looks just like normal eyewear. There is a camera mounted into the device that basically photographs what you are looking at and then consequently translates that data. Google Glass can translate text from any language to any other language using the Word Lens application. The process for setting up the Word Lens app and for using Google Glass to translate is pretty simple.
