Find out Which App Is Using the Most Battery Power (iOS 8)

If your iPhone is burning through its battery, you should check to see which apps are consuming the most energy.

In most cases, the battery is quickly drained due to display settings. The battery consumption may also increase if you install and frequently use resource intensive apps on your device.

Since this is a common issue that most devices face (both Apple and other brands), iOS 8 has a built-in feature which you can use to determine which apps are eating away at your battery. Once the culprit app is detected, you can take appropriate action to resolve the issue.

Here is how you can check which app on your iPhone is consuming your battery:

■Press the Sleep/Wake button to switch on your iOS 8 device.
■To unlock the iPhone, swipe your finger to the right on the screen (screen saying slide to unlock).
