How to Get to the Moon in Despicable Me: Minion Rush

Despicable Me: Minion Rush is a game created by Gameloft. If you’re familiar with running games like Temple Run or Subway Surfers, you’ll understand how the gameplay works, just with the Despicable Me minions doing the running instead. There are several power-ups that can be purchased with bananas, which are the currency within the game needed for costumes and other characters. One power-up is the Moon, which you can purchase in the shop under power-ups. The following steps will show you how to actually get to the moon.

1. Opening the app- Tap the Despicable Me: Minion Rush icon on your mobile device to open the app.

2. Shop- Enter the Shop and select upgrades. The moon will be at the very bottom of this list. It will cost 2,250 bananas to purchase.

3. The moon- This power-up allows you to go to the moon and collect stars, which adds greatly to your score.

4. How to get there- Once you purchase the Moon power-up, play the game like normal. When the moon appears, run toward it, tilting your device if necessary. You will now warp to the moon and be ready to play the game on the moon.

5. Moon game- You will have a limited time to collect as many blue stars as possible. If you touch a red meteor, you will lose points for collecting stars and you will be slowed down significantly. This power-up can be upgraded, which increases the time limit.
