How to Schedule Your Wi-Fi Usage on Your Phone

Connecting to Wi-Fi is a simple way to take some the strain off of your data plan. That only works, of course, if you remember to turn it on. Some phones can schedule when to use Wi-Fi, and third party apps for iPhone and Android offer this Wi-Fi scheduling functionality so you can always be on Wi-Fi when you need to be.

For Android:
Note: Not all Android phones have a native Wi-Fi scheduling option:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap on Wi-Fi.
3. Or bring out the notification panel, and long press on Wi-Fi icon.
4. Then Tap on ‘Wi-Fi Settings’

If you don’t have the option on your device, don’t worry. You can use the Wi-Fi Timer application for your Android phone.’. You can download it from the Play Store. After downloading the app you can easily use it to schedule Wi-Fi use.

For iOS:
You can't schedule Wi-Fi with Apple's software, but with the aTime Tool from the App Store, you can get similar functionality.
