How to Import Music to Spotify

Spotify is known for its streaming, but you can also import local music from your computer and listen to it. It's an easy way to listen to music stored on your hard drive alongside a seemingly endless supply of additional songs. Here's how to import local songs to Spotify, using the desktop app:


Step by Step Guide:
1. Open the Desktop Application and Log in.

2. This step will vary depending on your OS.
• For Windows: Click on ‘Edit’ and then click on ‘Preferences’.

• For Mac: Click on ‘Spotify’ and then click on ‘Preferences’.

3. Find the option ‘Local Files’. If you can't see it, scroll down.

4. Click on ‘Add Source’.

5. Go to the desired folder/s which contain your music files.

6. To add the folder highlight it using your mouse and add it.
7. Click on OK.
8. To add more files just repeat the whole process.
9. To remove any files/folders just uncheck them from the Add Source menu.
