Turn Off Shared Endorsements on Google+

By default, the Shared Endorsements feature is turned off on the Google+ profiles, and your manual intervention is required to turn it on. When the feature is turned on, any activity that you perform (such as sharing, following, or +1) on any advertised product will have your name attached.

Although it is good to let your friends, relatives, etc. on Google+ know which products you find interesting, sometimes you may not want to reveal your interests to your contacts. When this is the case, you can easily turn off the Shared Endorsements feature from your Google+ profile which then hides your name from any activity that you perform on any promotional advertisement.

Here is how you can turn off the Shared Endorsements feature on your Google+ profile:

■Sign-in to your Google+ account using your favorite web browser.
■On the Home page, hover the mouse to the Home menu from the menu bar located at the top-left corner.
■From the expanded list, click the Settings option.
