How to Change YouTube Streaming Quality on Android

YouTube allows viewers to change the quality of the streaming videos while watching them if video supports it. You might want to change the quality of the videos based on the amount of bandwidth that you use while watching them, and the preferred quality of the video that you would like to watch.

For example, if you have subscribed for a large amount of bandwidth and the video you are watching has some minute details that can be seen clearly only on high video resolution, it becomes important for you to increase the resolution of the video output.

Likewise, if you have very little bandwidth to use, it might take ages to buffer the videos, especially if the videos are high resolution and large in size. In this case, you might want to reduce the streaming quality in order to ensure that the videos are displayed without any halts or breaks.

Here’s how you can change the YouTube video streaming quality using any Android smartphone:

    ■Turn on your Android phone.
