How to Stop Your Facebook Account Deletion Request from your Android Smartphone

Unlike deactivating your Facebook account, which lets you reactivate any time, permanently deleting your account does not give you a chance to change your mind. Since Facebook account deletion is an irreversible process, Facebook does not delete the accounts immediately after it receives requests from account holders. Instead, it keeps the request in pending state for a few days. Facebook does this to make sure if the user really intends to delete the account, or still wants to give the account deletion a second thought.

If you have already sent the Facebook account deletion request to the Facebook team and your request is in pending state, you can cancel the request by signing-in to your account. Once you sign-in to your Facebook account by providing your credentials, the account deletion request is automatically cancelled, and you can use your Facebook profile normally thereafter.

Here’s how you can sign-in to your Facebook account after sending the account deletion request to the Facebook team:

    ■Turn on your Android phone.
■Tap the Menu button to go to the apps list.
