How to Enable Google Location Reporting in Android

Enabling Google location reporting in your Android device allows Google to identify your location, and update your Google Maps, make adjustments to your device’s date and time as per your region, etc.

In addition to this, with the help of the Google location reporting, Google is able to display the contents depending upon your current location. The appropriate contents that Google may display may include relevant advertisements, promotional information, etc.

If you have previously disabled Google location reporting in your Android device for any reason, here is how you can re-enable the feature:

■Switch on your Android device by pressing the power button.
■Tap the menu icon to display the apps list.
