Control Center in any iOS 7 device plays an important role when it comes to accessing some programs or customizing your iPhone or iPad. The developers have made it accessible right from the lock screen of your iPhone.

Although this is a good configuration when you want to make important modifications in your iPhone easily and quickly, there might be instances when you do not want you or anyone else to have direct access to Control Center.

In order to disable direct access to the Control Center on your iOS 7 device from the lock screen, follow the steps given below:

  1. Switch on your iPhone by pressing the power button.
  2. To unlock the home screen, slide your finger towards right on the screen (screen saying slide to unlock).

  3. On the home screen, tap Settings.

  4. On the Settings interface, locate and tap the Control Center option.

  5. Once the Control Center interface opens up, slide to disable the Access on Lock Screen toggle button.
