I Want CCleaner to Initialize Automatically during Computer Startup

Since CCleaner is one of the most popular Windows optimizer applications available online today, many users might want the program to initialize automatically every time the computer starts. Users may want to configure their instances of CCleaner this way in order to be sure that their computers are protected against any internal threats or misconfigurations.

When the CCleaner application is configured to initialize automatically at the computer startup, the computer is scanned for any missing or orphan registry entries, incompatible files, unwanted cookies, etc. As soon as the program detects any of the above, it rectifies the issue instantaneously, hence allowing the users to have decent experience while using their computer systems.

With the help of CCleaner, users can stay relaxed and can leave the rest of the computer maintenance to the program, which can be scheduled to perform automatic checks as per the given times.

Leaving the several other sophisticated and versatile features that the CCleaner program has for later discussions, this tutorial precisely focuses on how to configure the application to automatically initialize when the computer starts.

You can configure your instance of CCleaner to automatically initialize when the computer starts by following the instructions exactly the way they are given below:

■Log on to the computer using administrator account.

■Initialize CCleaner application by double-clicking its icon.

■On the opened interface, from the left navigation pane, click to select the Options button.

■From the displayed contextual navigation bar in the center of the interface, click to select the Settings category.

■On the Settings interface that is available at the right of the CCleaner window, check the Run CCleaner when the computer starts checkbox.

■Once this is done, close the CCleaner application.

■If you want to verify the modifications, restart your computer. To cross check the new configurations, it is always a good practice to shut down the computer, wait for approximately a minute, and then power the system back on.

Note: Although it is recommended that you should configure CCleaner to initialize automatically at the computer startup, this configuration delays the entire bootinh process of the computer. If you do not wish to experience delayed booting process, you can follow the steps from 1 to 7 while unchecking the ‘Run CCleaner when the computer starts’ checkbox when on step 5.
