Solved! Want to use wireless headphones with JVC Receiver/stereo

My husband has an old receiver that has several other units hooked to it. I would love to get him a pair of wireless headphones to use with this? I think this must be doable but everything I read talks about making speakers wireless to use stream music and while this would be an added bonus, its not my 1st goal. Goal is for him to use this stereo to play his his cds/records but through a wireless headset? Thanks!

First make sure said receiver has headphones jack, or audio output (monitor out, or tape out).

You should look for RF (Radio) or IR (Infra-red) wireless headphones. Getting him Bluetooth headphones will require additional BlueTooth transmitter to be connected to a receiver' output.
