Solved! Best laptop for £500

I’m a student at university and i’m kind of on a budget my old laptop has just recently stopped working resulting in one thing which was recycling it, nether the less i need a new one i’m not really laptop orientated so i dont really know whats best for my budget and requirements is there anyone willing to help a poor student ahhah.
All i’m looking for the laptop to be portable/thin/compact, good battery better than 5hrs will sure do the job and a good (1920x1080) display my budget is £500. Thak you flaze:)

these aren't thinnest laptop or ulraportable laptops but it's the best you can get and meet your requirements.

ASUS VivoBook X510UA (19.4mm & 1.7kg)
Lenovo IdeaPad 320 (22.9mm & 2kg)
Dell Inspiron 15 3000 (25.1mm & 2.2kg)

and yes you can play some AAA games and do editing at these laptop.
personally, i would go with asus one bcs its the lightest and i like its design lol but choose what you like most :)
