Hi,

3 years ago Intel introduced us the Intel Compute Stick which is a computer that fits in your hand
It can turn any Monitor/Tv that has a HDMI slot into pc in just seconds!
So I was wondering
What will happen to my laptop if I put a Intel Compute Stick in its HDMI slot?
too afraid to try it since this is my Only Laptop and I needed it for work
Soooo Any of you kind folks maybe could try this or if you'd have already try'd it Can you tell me the results?

Laptop and compute stick hdmi sockets are video out not video in so plugging a compute stick into one will probably damage both.

You probably won't damage anything, but it won't work either. Lots of people have tried connecting things to the HDMI port on laptops thinking it will just pop up on the screen, but I have not read about any of them actually damaging the laptop that way, unless of course you simply caused an electrical shock or surge through that port and killed the motherboard.

Either way, no need to try it since it won't work.
