So basically I've been taking apart a laptop recently, and I have taken off the front case and keyboard, but everything is still in place and nothing has really been changed. Whenever I turn the laptop on (using the remains of the power switch), the fans turn on and the LEDS, but the screen doesn't do anything (I've tried using an external screen, still no signal), and after a few seconds, everything powers off.
The make of the laptop is Toshiba Sattelite C660.

Solution
100% some cable is not plugged or RAM is not in place or you have touched something making short circuit
take RAM out blow RAM socket and put it back in.

Another tip for the future. Before touching any PC part touch the WALL radiator to discharge all energy you have on your body.

good luck
