Solved! Want durable, lasting laptop. Y530?

The Y530 seems to be overall a good laptop. However, there are two caveats:

#1 - Do not opt for the 6 core i7-8750H CPU it can run pretty hot and have caused laptops such as Y530 to overheat to the point where the i7 will throttle down the clockspeed and perform worse than the quad core i5-8300H. I forgot if it was the Dell G3 or G5 reviews I saw, but Far Cry 5 caused the i7 to hit 100c at which point the i7 did a hard throttle to "quickly" lower the CPU temp.

#2 - The GTX 1050 Ti version ships with a 250 nits screen which means it is not very bright. It's fine for indoor usage, but outside in bright daylight the screen will probably look a little dim. The GTX 1060 ships with a brighter screen; 300 nits which is in my opinion fairly average a few years ago. I have not read or watch a review with the newer screen so I don't know much brighter it actually is an if 300 nits is a fairly accurate specification.

Buy laptop cooler for whatever gaming laptop you end up buying. It is a relatively inexpensive means of cooling down the laptop and can potentially make it quieter since the laptop's fan(s) do not have to spin as quickly. I use the following DeepCool Multi Core X6 laptop cooler for my Dell Inspiron 7559 laptop. The fans within the laptop does a fine job at keeping the laptop cool, but I can definitely hear the fans. Using the Multi Core X6 the temps dropped by about 4c and it also allows the laptop's fans to spin much slower and make a lot less noise. The Multi Core X6's fans are pretty quiet especially when only 2 of the 4 fans are used.
