Hey there. I have a HP Compaq 6735s
A few days ago, my laptop would drop in battery percentage, even though it was plugged in. Now, it's stuck at 0% and it's plugged in, charging. But it isn't going up on battery at all. I even left it off all night last night and made sure the orange charging sign was on, that meant it was charging. I opened it an hour ago to see it still at 0%, plugged in and charging. I have to be still with movements if its on my lap or bed, as if I live the charger it will go off completely. I then have to fiddle with the charger in an effort to get the orange light back on so it says its charging and I can turn it on. This process goes on and on and on. I really need my laptop for work, please give me a solution for this issue. I also can't take the battery out as one side of the double buttons you have to press is jammed stuck (Thanks previous owners) and ive tried it all to get it to open, but to no avail.

Thank you!

You have an ~8 year old laptop battery there. The symptoms that you reported is classic battery failure. Laptop batteries do not last forever and yours has reached the end of its life. You need a new battery, not a charger.

The buttons that you're supposed to slide to open, the left side one is jammed. It won't open, I've tried to pry it to slide over with pointed objects such as knives and scissors and all sorts.
