Solved! Get external lcd to work w/HP 15-f1010dx Pavilion

This laptop has a broken screen. An external screen does not display anything. I've tried using Fn + F4 keys at various stages of boot. Nope. It's been suggested if I disconnect the internal cable to the touchscreen that might allow the external lcd to display.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

That would be my assessment as well. Was trying to find if any other keystroke might help, like that fn + F4. Nope. Looks like a goner.
