I just bought an old Dell Latitude E6510. It comes with a fresh Windows Pro 64bit install with drivers, but the seller has deleted the restore partitions.

My goal is recreate the restore partitions with an image of currently OS, that it works in the same way as factory restore process: F8 and follow the steps without external CDs/USBs etc.

In somewhere (when I was looking for the restore process) I seen should have two restore partitions on hard disk. I haven't any of two. I suspect in one there are the restore wizard and the other one it's the image. I'm right? If this is it, where can I get the first one and which format has the Hard disk image?

Thanks in advance,
Carles.

Much simpler would be to get an external drive and make an image of the computer on that using Macrium Reflect. That way if the disk dies, you can still restore the system, and you don't need to mess with creating new partitions and changing the boot loader options.
