Hi all. Like everyone else these days, my son is obsessed with Fortnite. He plays on Xbox One and wants to be able to use the voice chat so we got him a headset. No adapter for the controller, just plug it directly in to the controller and he's off and chatting. We'd like to be able to hear the chats through the tv - and he sometimes has friends over while playing with other friends online and they all want to be able to hear the chat. There is an option in the Xbox settings to choose whether to hear only through headphones, only through speakers, or both - we have it set to both but cannot hear the chat through the speakers, only the regular game audio. He hears both game audio and chat through the headset. Am I missing something or is this just not possible? Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Try the following:

1) > Settings > Display & Sound > Volume > Party Chat Output > Headset & Speakers.

If this doesn't work, I have read that the Xbox One kinect camera can also be used to double as a mic that will output the party chat to your tv. > Settings > Kinect > Click " Use Kinect for Chat ".

These are the only 2 options I was able to find. I hope this helps.
