Solved! Microphone doesn't work in games, but works in programs

Hello, so my microphone doesn't seem to work in any games after windows reset and update. It works perfectly fine in discord, audacity and etc. The mic is set as default device and default communications device and the privacy setting is set to allow in settings. I don't really know what else to try.

Try to configure the gaming platform like steam to use your mic. Did you check ingame settings as well?

Yeah, everything is configured to use this mic, but it still doesn't work.

Reinstall the latest audio driver for your sound chip

Resetting windows could help, but you will have to install all apps/games again after this.
