I've suddenly started having a problem with my laptop; the screen is blank when I turn it on. The blue LED still turns on, the fan still turns on, but the screen does not. I've tried to hold Ctrl + Esc / Fn + Esc while turning the power on, which does nothing. I've tried connecting it to a TV, which didn't show anything. I've taken the laptop apart, but didn't know how to remove the battery. I tried putting a needle into that pinhole on the underside, which also did nothing. Does anyone have another solution to this?

Try this...
1. Turn the laptop off (not sleep or hibernate but off).
2. Connect an external monitor to the laptop.
3. Turn on the external monitor.
4. Turn on the laptop.
NOTE: You may have to press an "external monitor" button. Could be the f4 button or a button with two monitors on it, for the external monitor to work.
If you can see fine on the external monitor, then your attached display, or the ribbon cable that connects it, are your problem.
If you can't see on the external monitor at all, or the problem occurs on the external monitor as well, then it is probably the graphics card/GPU that is the problem, which may require the motherboard be replaced.
You may also want to try hitting CTRL + SHIFT + WIN + B to try and reset your graphics driver as another possible fix.

Well, that's what I did, I connected it to an external monitor (the TV) and nothing came up, the TV just kept saying No Signal. And there isn't a "Win" key anywhere on this keyboard, unless you mean the one with the Windows symbol, which also didn't work. I also went ahead and waited for the laptop to discharge, but to no avail.

Well a TV is not the same as a monitor. However, if you tried all the options listed, and still won't work, then I would look into it being the GPU.
