Can I watch cable TV feed (HDMI) while using a streaming audio source (Spotify via ios-phone) Video select does not allow this. Cable box does not have component output

If you connect the cable box directly to the TV with HDMI and use the TV or cable box digital audio output to get sound to the receiver that would allow for cable video and any source for audio connected to the receiver. No loss of sound quality this way either.
