No sound in jbl sb 450 after connecting through tv

Hi , I have got jbl sb 450 and trying to connect audio to my lg tv 42lb5820 model.
I have connected hdmi arc PORT in both tv and sound bar and tv settings has been updated but no sound is coming from sound bar.

I can get sound from optical PORT connection . Please help.

TV HDMI-ARC is connected to the HDMI output of the soundbar?
ARC is turned on in the TV menu?
ARC is selected as your input on the soundbar?
Try changing the audio output type in the TV menu.
If after all this you don't get it working don't worry about it. The optical connection is just as good.
