After moving and having a new Internet and cable provider install a new modem and router, my laptop will not locate the wifi network. All of our other devices connect just fine. Other wifi networks can be seen on the laptop except ours. I've trouble shooted just about everything . I've searched the Internet forums for solutions and followed all kinds of step by step recommendations. I have a HP with Windows 8.1. Internet works fine with ethernet and computer is locating our neighbors networks and can connect to themail fine. Just not ours. Lol. HELP!!

Solution
Is the wifi network 2.4ghz or 5ghz? If its the latter be sure your laptop actually support 5ghz, if it doesn't then it wont see the network. You'll need to go intot the router and configure the network

Another option to rule out a hardware issue is buy a very cheap USB wifi dongle for the laptop see what happens.
